libechonest2.1 software package provides Qt library for communicating with The Echo Nest platform, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libechonest2.1
libechonest2.1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libechonest2.1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libechonest2.1 *
You will get with libechonest2.1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
